Leicester Sketch Club Past & Present

An exhibition of paintings and drawings by current members of the Leicester Sketch Club alongside the work of past members selected from the Museum's historic collection dating back to the 1900's.

This highly regarded club, founded in 1898, has encouraged and inspired local and regional artists for over 100 years, through a series of professional demonstrations, workshops, sketching days and monthly meetings.

The club has over 90 members ranging from professional full time artists to developing part time artists and aims to encourage the artistic development of all.

It is a wonderful opportunity to see some of the talented work of Leicestershire based artists over time.

You are invited to sketch with members on 6th June and 11th July (10am - 1:30pm).
