Spring Awakening
Following last year’s Sweet Charity National Youth Music Theatre return to Curve with electric, rock musical Spring Awakening.
Caught between childhood and adulthood, this poignant story follows a group of teenagers who live in a world without any answers. Led by the headstrong and charismatic Melchior Gabor, they are forced to educate themselves on life’s biggest issues and revolt against the adults who suppress them. But as the group learn more about the world around them, their own lives begin to spiral out of control.
With a Tony Award-winning score of punchy anthems, this gritty and raw portrayal of youth will be directed by Curve Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster.
Recommended for ages 14 and over.
