Large Plants, The Black Apples

We are delighted to see the return of Large Plants to The Foxlowe Arts Centre. This time supported by local garage-blues trio The Black Apples.

Large Plants started in 2020 as a solo recording project for Jack Sharp, the singer and guitarist for psych-folk luminaries Wolf People (currently on hiatus).

Their music could be characterised as psychedelic folk-rock; a continuation of Wolf People's melding of 70?s folk-rock (Mountain, Jethro Tull, Fairport Convention) with the bluesy psychedelia of Black Sabbath, Cream or Traffic.

What really makes the band stand out and gives them their own unique power, is the brilliantly intricate and truly mind-blowing guitar counterpoint between Jack Sharp and Joe Wooley.
