Leeds Lunchtime Chamber Music Season 2012/13 - SAA-Uk

You are invited to a midday concert that promises to touch you deep in the heart through the magic of the bamboo Flute (Bansuri) in the hands of Teymour Housego, accompanied by Upneet Singh on Tabla.

The Bansuri is depicted in Buddhist painting dating back to 100 AD and is an instrument intimately linked to the love story of Lord Krishna and Radha. It has been said that music played on the bansuri has a spellbinding and enthralling effect the leaves the listener's mind, body and soul.
