Maddie was a BBC 2 Young Folk Award winner in 2019. Her music uses personal story telling to embody political ideas and tackles issues ranging from LGBTQIA identities to poverty, sexual violence, and voting to name a few!
Maddie's work with activism is not only embodied in performance, in 2018 Maddie spent time in Pescara Italy working on a song writing project with Nigerian refugees as part of 'House of Europe' and she has supported many big name artists.
