Tom Killner plus Lightning Threads

Tom Killner is one of a generation of exciting new musical artists straddling genres founded in the Blues and merging into Americana, Southern Rock and Country. However you want to brand it Tom is a huge young talent with a powerful voice and fine guitar skills backed up by a terrific tight as chuff band. As well as playing and singing he writes memorable and catchy tunes which are getting him noticed across the airwaves and media and landing him big shows across the country and into Europe. At Leeds Blues Club we strongly believe that Tom Killner is on a trajectory to the top.
The Lightning Threads are one of the brightest and hardest working bands on the current scene. Their debut album 'Off that Lonely Road' has received extensive airplay and was nominated for album of the year in the 2024 UK Blues Awards. Lightning Threads shows are full of energy and fun including a keyboard playing drummer that has to be seen to be believed.
We are delighted that two of Yorkshire's most talented and celebrated young bands will be helping us to celebrate Christmas and remember our great friend and mentor Steve Beastie in a party night to cap off an incredible year.
