The King of Tiny Things brings to Carriageworks Theatre on Tuesday 27 October a beautiful, emotionally rich story to engage children and adults alike, starring four of the world’s most exciting circus artists.

Based on the children's book by award-winning author Jeanne Willis, The King of Tiny Things follows two young sisters camping in their grandparents' garden, who meet the King of Tiny Things, a winged shepherd of all who creep and crawl or buzz their wings.

The stunning, luminescent puppet King introduces them to a series of creatures who need their help, each brought to life through a different circus discipline, a juggling Slug who's lost her slime, a contortionist Caterpillar struggling with the changes he's undergoing, 3 acrobatic Baby Bats and a stilt-walking Daddy Long Legs taking her first steps in an adult world.

With storytelling, circus skills, puppetry and music, there's genuinely something for all ages.
