Sangam - 3 Musicians, 3 Instruments, 1 Journey

Sangam marks a meeting, a confluence and a blending of musical traditions. Three internationally renowned musicians play together for the first time. Ustad Dharambir Singh brings the richness of the sitar, Pandit Bharat Bhushan Goswami adds the soulful sarangi and Pandit Ramdas Palsule showcases the intricacies of the tabla.

Ustad Dharambir Singh is a pioneering educator and sitar virtuoso. One of the senior disciples of the legendary Ustad Vilayat Khan, he has propagated the 'gayaki ang' throughout the UK and internationally and collaborated with established artists both in Indian classical music and many other genres.

An accomplished tabla player, Ramdas Palsule learned the fine art of tabla and it's dynamic characteristics from maestro Pandit Suresh Talwalkar in Pune, India. He has travelled all over the world performing as a solo artist and accompanying the top vocalists and instrumentalists in Indian classical music.

Pandit Bharat Bhushan Goswami is one of the most expressive players of his generation. With a background in traditional vocal music, he internalised the technique of sarangi from Pt. Kanhaiya Lal Ji and Pt. Hanuman Prasad Mishra and brings a fluidity and emotive quality to his style.
