The second part of our swing festival features Alligator Gumbo, a 6 piece swing band from Leeds. Their repertoire is built up of songs made famous by the likes of Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Jelly Roll Morton, and Billie Holiday, played in the traditional New Orleans style, with it's fast paced melodies and improvisations over foot-stomping rhythms.
