One of Scottish music's most distinctively sublime voices, Emily Smith is coming to the Market Theatre to enchant us. She has recently been voted Scots Singer of the Year.
Together with her appearances at the Cambridge Folk Festival, Transatlantic Sessions singing with the likes of Mary Chapin Carpenter and Julie Fowlis, she has an impressive list of onstage collaborators that includes Richard Thompson, Eddi Reader and Beth Neilson Chapman.
Emily is recognised not only as a talented songwriter but also as one of the finest interpreters of traditional song in the UK.
