Part of the Young at Heart Festival

New Horizons Duo comprise of Beth Taylor, Scottish mezzo-soprano and Polish pianist, Michał Gajzler.
Lauded for her “strong presence both dramatically and musically” (The Arts Desk) and the “intriguing depth” (MusicOMH) of her portrayals, Beth Taylor is at the onset of a major international career. Beth is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She is currently refining her technique under the tutelage of Metropolitan Opera veteran, Jennifer Larmore.
Michał Gajzler, born and raised in Poland, recently graduated with an MMus in repetiteurship at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's Alexander Gibson Opera School. In 2010, he graduated with an MMus in piano performance at the Krakow Academy of Music and MA in musicology at the Jagiellonian University (Krakow).
Their programme “Still waters run deep” will include a collection of songs from “Dew” to “Ocean scapes”, including Harty, Rossini, Stravinsky, D’Indy, Nyman and many more!
