The Joshua Burnell Band, Crooked Weather

Whilst growing up Joshua Burnell was drawn to progessive rock music and more recently became fascinated by traditional music. He has blended the two to make a style all of his own.

He sparked interest in the folk world with his ambitious 'Seasons Project' which saw him release one song a week for a whole year. Fourteen of those songs formed his 'Songs for a Season' album which was released in 2018 and got rave reviews in the music press.

He then went on tour with his band and went down a storm at last year's Festival. The band are Joshua on guitar, keyboards and vocals, Nathan Greaves on guitar, Holly Brandon on violin, Frances Sladen on vocals, Jack Woods on mandolin, Matthew Melford on bass and Ed Simpson on drums.
