Keele Philharmonic Orchestra, Keele Voices

For their final concerts of the 2014-15 academic year, Keele Philharmonic and Keele Voices will join forces to present possibly the most popular musical setting of the Requiem Mass.

Far from the drama of Verdi or the melancholy of Mozart, Fauré offers us a poignant, intimate requiem. Written idiomatically and beautifully for the voice, it remains as popular with singers and musicians as it does with audiences.
