Bute Arts Society: Presents The Whitburn Band
The Whitburn Band has been both Scottish Champions and Scottish Brass Band of the year.
Their October 2023 Concert on Bute was a resounding success and they were immediately asked to return to perform for Bute Arts Society. They were formed in 1870 in West Lothian in the heart of the coal mining community.
Join us on Bute for another very special Gala Brass Band concert to remember.
Whitburn Brass Band
18-time Scottish champion brass band, and the associated Whitburn Heartlands, Whitburn Youth Band and Whitburn Wee Band. The band can often be heard playing the national anthem of the away team at Scotland international rugby games in front of a television audience of millions.
