John Beattie

John Beattie played 25 times for Scotland at rugby and toured twice with the British and Irish Lions. He now presents the lunch time news programme on BBC Radio Scotland, fronts documentaries on TV and radio, and commentates for TV and radio on rugby and other sports. Much of his early journalism career was spent writing for Scotland on Sunday and then The Herald.
