Beautiful Thing

Beautiful Thing by Jonathan Harvey is a glorious urban love story between two young men coming to grips with their sexuality and the effect it has on the people in their lives.

The play exquisitely depicts what it is to be young, in the first flush of love, and full of optimism.

First performed on stage in 1993, it soon found its way to the big screen where it has become a cult movie within the LGBT community.

Hull Playgoers are honoured to be the first Theatre company to officially perform this important piece in Hull.
