Jon Palmer & Wendy Ross

Passed

This event has been and gone.

Dogfinger Steve opens proceedings with his self penned, stompin' cigar box guitar toons performed with passion and their very own brand of originality.

Carrie Martin next up: Hers is a true story of rags to – well, not quite riches maybe, but certainly success and critical acclaim in the world of contemporary acoustic - based folk/rock music.

Edwina Hayes' beautifully written songs, charming stage presence and voice of an angel have won her a reputation as a true natural talent of gentle folk-Americana. She has opened numerous shows for Jools Holland and Van Morrison as well as her own gigs playing stages everywhere from Glastonbury Festival to The Royal Albert Hall.

Jon Palmer and Wendy Ross may be a truncated version of the Jon Palmer Acoustic Band but they perform the same soaring, uplifting songs. Jon is a former winner of the Grolsch UK Songwriter of the Year, and a published songwriter with Sony.

Carrie Martin

Influenced by the likes of Eva Cassidy and Ann Wilson for her song writing, her unique style of playing defies categorisation. A type of hybrid picking that was taught between mixtures of her father, local Hull teacher John Shepherd and finally mentored by Gordon Giltrap, regularly leaves audiences and musicians alike, wowed, intrigued and impressed.
