Brighton and Hove's most televised stand up comedian is once again committing to providing an hour's entertainment without having written it just yet.

This trick has worked in the past, with both his recent sell out National tour shows starting life in The Old Market's bar, supported by a local crowd and their subsequent prejudice in favour of material detailing the nuanced differences between Upper Brunswick and Lower Montpelier.

Whether it will work a third time remains to be seen but the opportunity for fiasco is mitigated by the proximity of the bar and the wealth of old material on which Evans can fall back if things really start to deteriorate.
