Confessions Of A Cockney Temple Dancer

In Confessions of a Cockney Temple Dancer, dancer Shane Shambu tells a unique story of growing up in East Ham, speaking two languages and living within many more cultures, revealing how he overcame obstacles to live his dream – to perform Indian dance and stories in a way that could speak to everyone.

In this East London premiere, Shane returns to the Queen’s Theatre to recreate the moment when he was one of the first British Asian dance students to perform on the stage 22 years ago.
