Signdance Collective

Signdance Collective are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their pioneering art form with their performance of Carthage/Cartagena by Caridad Svich.

Carthage is set in an imagined, despoiled, war-torn landscape and is a series of ten multilingual letter song-poems/cantos. Each canto conveys metaphorical places of dislocation and how they may find hope in the face of chaos. Signdance Collective develops the script into performance, utilising the company's unique blend of sign, physical theatre, dance, live music and digital media.

The production explores some adult themes and is recommended for ages 13+
