Mad maidens, wicked baronets, virginal bridesmaids, ghosts that step down from pictures - they’re all here in Opera della Luna’s hilarious version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera.
Composed immediately after The Mikado, the opera is a send-up of Victorian melodrama and contains some of Sullivan’s finest music.
Now in its third decade, Opera della Luna once again brings superb singing and ingenious invention to a well-loved classic. Badness and madness as you have never seen… in Ruddigore revamped!
