An alternative rock trio based in London who are quietly creating a buzz among the capital's music fans. Lead singer Oli Burslem started out selling antique furniture. Two of his best customers were Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Spiritualized's Jason Pierce, who both encouraged him to form a band, and Yak were soon born.
