Calderdale Big Band

An evening of classic swing, big band hits and vocals.

Calderdale Big Band will be playing many of the 'Swing Era' classics from the great bands of Glen Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and benny Goodman amongst others.

This year they will be featuring Rob and Shelly our male and female vocalists with a number of songs from that era, such as 'I’ve Got you Under My Skin' 'Where or When' 'Time After Time' and duets such as 'Sway' and 'Something Stupid'.

To top the show, the Band will also put a select number of modern jazz hits in the programme such as 'Birdland' and 'Happy'. The band looks forward to performing again at the Playhouse for what will be a great night of entertainment.
