The Wilderness Yet

This will be the long awaited and much anticipated return of singer Rosie Hodgson and traditional fiddler Rowan Piggott to the club, this time in the company of Philippe Barnes. Rosie's voice has been described as audible magic by fROOTS and it is no surprise that she has been a finalist for the BBC Young Folk Award. Rowan grew up in the foothills of the Burren on the west coast of Ireland and also performs in a duo on fiddle with Georgia Lewis, as those of you who saw them at the club last year will know.

Philippe is well-known on the folk scene as a virtuosic flautist, but is an equally magnificent guitarist! Since completing an MA in Irish Music Performance at University of Limerick, Philippe has toured with numerous bands including Crossharbour (alongside Rosie).
