Legendary Irish singer-songwriter Christy Moore is heading back out on tour in early 2016.

Having begun his career in 1965, Moore remains a relevant force in contemporary music. In recent years he has won Best Male at the Meteor Music Awards and seen his song 'Lisdoonvarna' included in the Penguin Book of Irish Verse.

He has performed with Coldplay in front of 80,000 people at Oxegen Festival and his version of 'The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll' has been included on The Rough Guide to Bob Dylan, which features the best Bob Dylan covers.

His most recent album Where I Come From contains new recordings of songs from across his four decade career as a solo musician and member of Planxty and Moving Hearts.
