Red Moon Road

Red Moon Road hail from Winnipeg, Canada and this will be their first UK tour. They are Canada's most energetic and endearing folk trio and are made up of: Sheena Rattai on lead vocals and the two Daniels; Jordan and Peloquin-Hopfner who between them play Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar, delay pedals and a beat up bass drum.

Their music is uplifting, energetic and a lively take on modern roots. They also go in for masterful story-telling and haunting three part harmonies. This is music made equally for fireplaces, festival stages and the luminous blue of a clear Canadian night.

These three musicians come from diverse musical backgrounds so it isn't surprising then, that in the middle of their acoustic set, the trio busts out a delay pedal or a loop track to lock the rhythm down. They use what they have lying around with great purpose and variety.
