The long-awaited reunion that fans have been clamouring for is here: Scissor Sisters are back and readying their first live shows in over 12 years.

2024 marks the 20 year anniversary of the band's debut album 'Scissor Sisters', one of the UK's 40 best-sellers of all time, and to celebrate this, the era-defining pop disruptors – lead singer Jake Shears plus multi-instrumentalist Babydaddy and guitarist Del Marquis – will fill the UK's arenas in May 2025 with their signature mix of showmanship, songcraft and galvanising queer energy.

Scissor Sisters burst onto the scene in the early 2000s with a colourful, boundary-pushing style that blended glam rock, pop, and disco, breaking down barriers in LGBTQ+ representation in mainstream music. In 2012, following almost a decade of dominating the music scene, including collaborations with Kylie Minogue, Pharrell Williams and Calvin Harris and performances all over the world including Glastonbury, Coachella and V Festival, the band announced an indefinite hiatus. But in 2024 they announced a comeback with a huge live tour.

Alison Goldfrapp

Alison Goldfrapp appearing at this event

Having set a towering bar for synth-pop in the 21st century, Alison Goldfrapp– the magnetic British songwriter, vocalist, performer and producer – is recognised for approaching each iteration of her stellar career from an innovative new position. Her seven albums with Goldfrapp were fuelled by an unfailing modernity and a sixth sense for sounds that were more timeless than any trend. Established in 1999, Goldfrapp’s debut album was nominated for a Mercury Prize and over their career they produced three number-one US dance singles and received multiple Grammy nominations including Best Electronic/Dance Album. The multi-platinum selling band have won prestigious awards including two Ivor Novellos, ASCAP/PRS, Music Week, MTV Europe and Music Producers Guild award. They were also nominated for two BRITs and a Mercury. 2022 saw Alison release her first solo collaboration ‘Impossible’ with Royksopp and as we enter 2023 new music is promised…the first track to be unveiled being an incredible collaboration with Claptone.
