Pop rock legends Busted stormed the stage at McFly’s sold out 21st birthday headline show to announce they will be going head to head on tour together next year! The Busted vs McFly Tour will see the two groups visit some of the UK’s biggest and best venues across the UK and Ireland.

Busted

The trio of Matt Willis, James Bourne and Charlie Simpson began their journey together back in 2002 with continuous massive singles, including the huge hits 'Year 3000', 'Crashed the Wedding and 'What I Go To School For'. Their infectious pop-punk hits made them become household names with a worldwide fanbase. Splitting in 2005, Matt released a solo album, James released music with his band Son of Dork and Charlie continued with his heavier band Fightstar, all to great commercial and critical acclaim. The need to keep the Busted name going, James and Matt joined with McFly with a short run as supergroup McBusted. The boys finally returned after just over a decade with a new album in 2016; 'Night Driver' and released 'Half Way There' in February 2019 which perfectly brought back the 'Busted' sound again.

McFly

BRIT Award winners McFly took their name from Marty McFly of the 'Back To The Future' films and have had 19 hit singles including 7 UK No.1s in their long time together. During their run as being one of the UK's best-loved bands, they joined forces with fellow British punk-pop band Busted to form McBusted and went on to complete two massive UK tours. Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry have each become household names in their own right but together they have had six sell-out tours and have sold over ten million records worldwide.
