The Scottish House and Disco Festival returns to SWG3 with a massive line up incoming for our summer garden party.

Danny Krivit

Danny Krivit is a legendary DJ and music maestro co-founder of Body & Soul, New York. Danny’s list of DJ residencies steadily grew throughout the 70s and in 1979, after Djing at the opening of the Roxy; he became their main resident DJ for the next 4 years. In the early 80s the Roxy was the home of some of the best Hip hop DJs of the day like “D.S.T”, GrandMaster Flash, and Africa Bambaata. Danny's early embracing of scratch mixing earned him the nickname Danny Rock. Throughout the 80s and very often playing 6 and 7 nights a week, the list of clubs he played at exploded and included places like, Area, Dancateria, The Ice Palace, Laces, The Limelite, Red Zone, Save The Robots, Studio 54 (Virgin Islands), Tracks, The Tunnel, The World, and many, many others. Even a guest spot at the legendary Paradise Garage. Since the late 70s trade magazines such as Billboard (which he still reports to weekly), Cash Box, Record World and Dance Music Report amongst others, have listed Danny’s play lists and Danny’s mix tapes would regularly be aired on NY radio stations WBLS, WKTU, & KISS FM.

Greg Wilson

Greg made his name at legendary clubs The Hacienda and Wigan Pier during the early 80's. Largely recognized as one of the first DJs to bring the electro-funk sound from New York to the British scene. "A genuine old skool innovator from back in the day' -Norman Jay MBE.

The Reflex

French born but a London resident for the last 15 years, this DJ and Producer is a specialist in re-works, re-edits and remixes with a heavy touch of disco, funk, soul and pop getting The Reflex treatment. He is able to take the grooves of classics and present his own versions for todays dancefloor. No newcomer to the music scene, The Reflex work is the culmination of twenty years of DJing, record digging and producing resulting in head-turning reworks that have caught the attention of a massive and wide range of DJ's around the world including Dimitri From Paris, Mousse T, Gilles Peterson, Ashley Beedle, Kon, Danny Krivit, Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco, Nightmares On Wax, Bill Brewster, Bottin...and many more, all in just a over a year. His Revisions Series are almost a staple feature on Craig Charles's show on 6Music.
