Metropolis is consistently voted as one of the top and most influential films of all time. It is a cinematic extravaganza encompassing many genres with stunning visual effects which have been referenced in the Ridley Scott film Blade Runner and the stage performances by artist Madonna.
Dmytro Morykit, combines work composed over a 30 year period with several new pieces to create an incredible new piano concert to complement this iconic film, bringing it to a modern audience.
The dramatic theatre of the solo piano, gives the audience a new way of experiencing both music and image, providing an inspirational evening of film and sound.
