Throwing Muses, Tanya Donelly

In conjunction with the first new Throwing Muses album for over a decade, Kristin Hersh takes the band on a UK tour this autumn.

The first new collection of music from The Throwing Muses in over ten years has been released as a book. Titled Purgatory/Paradise, this 32 track album is available as a deluxe 64-page book and a full studio album on CD.

This exclusive edition from the experimental HarperCollins imprint The Friday Project contains photography and artwork from both Kristin Hersh and David Narcizo of Throwing Muses. Founding member and lead singer, Hersh, has also written insightful and revealing notes and essays to accompany each song as well as transcribing the lyrics. Drummer David Narcizo has designed the book and artwork.

There is also a raft of exclusive content, only available to those fans that purchase this unique edition including;

* A commentary track for the whole Purgatory/Paradise album by Kristin Hersh and David Narcizo
* An instrumental version of the full album
* MP3 versions of all tracks available of download, complete with embedded data, artwork and lyrics

The Purgatory/Paradise book will be the only physical release of this new throwing Muses album, aside from the vinyl version.
