The Lyric Club returns to the King's Theatre with the upbeat and high energy audience pleaser, '9 to 5 - The Musical'.

'9 to 5 - The Musical', with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the 1980's hit movie '9 to 5' and delights from the outset. Set in the late 1970s the show is a hilarious story of friendship, gossip and revenge in the Rolodex era.

The plot centres around three unlikely female friends who when pushed to boiling point by their sexist, egotistical, lying, bigot (in other words not a nice man!) of a boss, devise a plan to get even. They conspire to take control of the company and learn there's not very much that they can't do - even in a man's world! Outrageous, thought provoking and even a little romantic, this musical is all about teaming up against the odds and taking care of business.

Featuring Dolly Parton's original hit song, '9 to 5' this show is funny, feisty and full of catchy tunes guaranteed to having you dancing in your seat.
