King Tut's New Year's Revolution: Anderson McGinty Webster Ward & Fisher + Davey Horne + Sienna
ing Tut’s New Year’s Revolution is the perfect start to the New Year for fans of fresh, new music and comes with a guarantee that music lovers will discover their new favourite band over the course of the festival. There will be a limited number of £30 Golden Tickets on sale which allow the holder entry into EVERY show of the festival.
Formerly Anderson McGinty Webster Ward & Fisher, when Ward left the band a new name was born. The new name is taken from a well-known junction in Dundee. For them, this junction represents the different path they now find themselves on – roads that have split off into divergent paths.
A swarthy batch of young cronies made up from the parts of Dundee’s recent hot bands. Their secret is a blend of enigmatic songwriters and singers thrown together into one melting pot. The line up of instrumentation they employ hints at the unusual sound they have harnessed – bouzouki, mandolin, harmonium, double bass, autoharp – the list goes on. Folk, hip-hop, rock and country are not genres that are normally associated with just one band!
