McVention 2016

McVention began in 2004 as a small Status Quo charity event in the Gamble Halls, Gourock. It featured On The Level (The UK's No 1 Status Quo Tribute Band)and was a massive success. The second year had a bigger lineup, with Mid Life Crisis and On The Level as the headline act. It moved to The Liberal Club, Paisley for its third event and had fans travelling from all over Europe to attend. It has been a success each year and has grown from strength to strength, with most UK Status Quo tribute bands playing at the event.

It has donated to many different charities over the years including Yorkhill, Nordoff Robbins, Shonas Smile and Loud 'n' Proud School of Rock.

This year the event will be held in Ivory Blacks, Glasgow. This is looking up to be the most successful event to date with the bands to be announced soon!
