This show has been rescheduled to 27th March and moved to The Barrowlands.
After more than 35 years and 13 million albums sold worldwide, Saxon are still relentless and passionate as they were back in the days of 'Wheels of Steel' and 'Denim and Leather'. The influential heavy metal outfit has been an inspiration for the likes of Metallica and Megadeth and a front-runner for the New Wave of British Heavy Metal sweeping the nation in the late 70s-early 80s.
Featuring Thin Lizzy alumni Ricky Warwick (vocals), Scott Gorham (guitar), Damon Johnson (guitar) and Robert Crane (bass), with new addition Chad Szeliga on drums (Breaking Benjamin, Black Label Society). Black Star Riders are the next step in the evolution of the Thin Lizzy story, with a sound that retains that classic feel but is very much its own as well.
The original all-female rockers still on the road, now celebrating their 30th anniversary with three original members on board - Enid Williams rejoins Kim McAuliffe and Denise Dufort, with Jackie Chambers completing the quartet.
