Legendary American singer-songwriter Bernie Nelson is set to tour the UK for the first time.

The Nashville-based country music artist takes his Put Your Foot On The Gas tour to Glasgow, Basildon and Preston in September.

Nelson is one of Music City's most respected writers and his award-winning songs have been recorded by multi-platinum artists including Kris Kristofferson, Conway Twitty, Kenny Chesney, Crystal Gayle, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, appearing on millions of records sold worldwide.

Bernie will be performing his classic country hits on the tour along with tracks from his recently released album 'Blue' - a traditional country collection of songs from heart-touching ballads to honky-tonk party tracks. Since it's October release tracks from 'Blue' have impacted on dozens of radio stations throughout the UK and Ireland. It's lead single, "Lonelyville" spent multiple weeks at No.1 on the Hotdisc chart earlier this year.
