Dance International Glasgow Double Bill

A double bill where four performers will explore emotions, shimmering states, actions-reactions, conflicts between themselves and the audience, thus creating a surreal and playful scenario.

Coming From Peru
Taking inspiration from an Italian game called Coming from Peru, do whatever you want me to do. Three performers/contestants will challenge themselves according to the input of the audience. This will reflect the relationship between workers and employers in the freelancer world.

Is to Finish
A dance piece inspired by Molly Bloom’s monologue from Ulysses (James Joyce) performed by three dancers who are playing inside a circle created by the audience. These characters play alone, with each other, interact, or ignore any other essence/presence that has its own reason to be there, although in a very confused and surreal scenario. The piece will be accompanied by a live performance from musician Amitai Ladin.

Part of Dance International Glasgow, a new celebration of dance across Glasgow and beyond.
