​The Pogues were a English and Irish Punk Band that played traditional and original compositions, injected with catchy hooks and head rocking enthusiasm. The band was comprised of the legendary Shane MacGowan on Vocals, Spider Stacy on the Whistle, Andrew Rankin on Drums, Terry Woods on Cittern, Darryl Hunt on Bass, Jem Finer on Banjo and James Fearnley on Accordion – but split up in 2014 after the death of their beloved guitarist, Philip Chevron.

Songs like Streams of Whiskey, Fairytale of New York, Whiskey in the Jar, Fiesta, Broad Majestic Shannon, The Irish Rover and Pair of Brown Eyes (among many, many more) – are perfect to celebrate life in general and evoke happy memories, while providing an atmosphere sure to keep the crowd merry, dancing and drinking.

​THE P’HOGUES are based in County Somerset, England and are happy to travel. This group of committed members are easily the premier Pogues tribute act within Somerset and hopefully beyond.
