What the press say:
Abi has been dubbed by critics as "an incredible stand-up…unstoppable charisma, dominating the stage all through the hour with a wide range of insightful observations...She's a true talent, with her boisterous, laugh-out-loud humour that never once fails to gain laughs from the audience, she's an entertaining and one-of-a-kind stand-up.” - Edinburgh Festival Magazine.
"Brilliant, funny and charming. True comedy genius..one of GQ’s Top Ten New Stand-ups to see in 2016", GQ Magazine;
"Dangerous and the very opposite of consensus comedy...she cleverly disguises some hard-hitting stuff working on several levels at the same time, whilst she wraps up these subliminal messages with some Vaudvillian schtick …she's rapid-fire, infectious humour... unstoppable and triumphant...and she takes down target after target" - New Statesman;
"She breaks new comedy ground. She is a fantastic live act and one the best female acts on the circuit today... one of those comedians you tell your friends that "you must see" - Independent;
"Raucous and incredibly funny" - Daily Telegraph;
"Fast-paced, high-octane comedy with brilliant routines...entertaining throughout and leaves everybody wanting more" - Gigglebeats.co.uk;
"A master impersonator and a gifted comedy performer standing way out from the herd. Abi Roberts has huge stage presence, commanding the room from the moment she steps on stage.. a wonderful blend of funny stories and audience interaction. Not to be missed. Steal a ticket if you have to." - Edinburgh’s Three Weeks
"Roberts is packing them in (at the Voodoo Rooms)...she is truly and hysterically funny and has definitely got the comedy moves. She does it all with genuine charm and character, with big laughs. She has an imposing range of talents and her impressions are, well, impressive. She really is more than just a stand-up". UK Comedy website Chortle.
