The Cinelli Brothers

The Cinelli Brothers is a project born out of a common passion for the electric Chicago and Texas blues from the 60s and 70s, when Marco (guitarist, singer and composer) and Alessandro (drummer, backing vocalist and arranger) decided to form an explosive team showcasing original repertoire in the style of Chess, Stax and Motown. Italian born and London based, the brothers were born to play the blues under the influence of their SRV loving father.

Their current album, “Babe Please Set Your Alarm’ has been met with rave reviews and comprises of both original compositions as well as a few covers. ‘Chain of Fools’ and ‘Back Door Man’ stay true to the Willie Dixon original, while Prince’s ‘Kiss’, is a piece of remarkable shuffle rhythm. The album reached number 2 in the IBBA (Independent Blues Broadcasters Association) chart as the bands profile soared. In 2018 Marco Cinelli was nominated best guitar player of the year by Music Republic Magazine.

However, the Cinelli’s really come into their own when playing live; this is truly a must see gig.
