By Arrangement with Selective Agency & MEC Music Ltd presents SPACE - Music for Pleasure, Music for Pain Tour
Space embark on their UK “Music for Pleasure Music for Pain Tour” in February-April 2020 followed by the album of the same name in May 2020.
The band's last studio album "Give Me Your Future" was recorded and produced by Grammy and Brit Award winning producer Steve Levine who also worked with The Clash, Culture Club, Beach Boys, Denice Williams and Gary Moore to name a few. It was released in December 2017, and was followed by "The Anthology" Box Set to include the 4 released Albums plus the unreleased “Love you More Than Football” in early 2019.
The band's 1990’s hit "Female of the Species" recently made the top of the album charts with the “TFI Album” – (Number 1 in June 2015)
Space have sold over 5 million records worldwide with titles including “Spiders”, “Tin Planet”, “Suburban Rock and Roll” and “Attack of the Mutant 50ft Kebab” along with ten top 40 singles and a host of other single releases to-date with titles including “Neighborhood”, “Female of the Species”, “Me and You Vs. The World”, “The Ballad of Tom Jones”, “Avenging Angels”, “Dark Clouds” and “Begin Again”.
Albums "Spiders" and "Tin Planet" have both been awarded double platinum discs from the BPI
The band continue to write gritty edgy pop songs that capture the imagination of the listener
Cheeky, scouse outfit whose quirky, uplifting brand of indie-pop has produced many smiles, as well as some irresistable tunes ('Neighbourhood', 'Female Of The Species', 'Me And You Vs The World'). Record company wrangles led to them being silent at the start of the new millenium, but in 2012 Space were back with a vengeance and playing material from their new albums 'Attack Of The 50ft Kebab' and 'Give Me Your Future'.
