About Up There

A comedy that looks at the lighter side of purgatory. Martin (Burn Gorman), recently deceased in a car accident, has been dispatched to a 'Restart centre' to learn how to cope with being dead. Rather than being set free into an everlasting Paradise he's been forced into a boring job welcoming other ex-people into the afterlife. They must be handled carefully as there is a danger that they will bolt in fright when they realise that they are dead. Unfortunately, Martin and his incessantly chirpy colleague Rash (Aymen Hamdouchi) manage to lose one of their wards and have to find him before Martin loses his chance to ascend to a higher plane. They give chase to a small seaside town and meet the philosophical Liz (Kate O'Flynn) who may be able to help.
