About T.S Spivet

Another offbeat, visually stunning adventure from the director of Amelie and Micmacs. T.S. Spivet (Kyle Catlett) is a young boy living on an isolated ranch in Montana with his eccentric family. His mother (Helena Bonham Carter) is obsessed with insects while his more rugged, earthy father (Callum Keith Rennie) enjoys all aspects of ranch life. T.S. is a very bright child with a passion for science, inventing and drawing maps. One day he gets a call from the famed Smithsonian Institution in Washington and is informed that his perpetual motion machine has won a prize. He neglects to mention that he is ten years old and decides to journey across the country to accept his accolade, leaving a note for his family.
