About The Dictator

A comedy about terrorism and dictators from the creator of 'Borat' and 'Bruno', Sacha Baron Cohen. He plays General Aladeen, ruthless leader of the Republic Of Wadiya. He goes to America to give a speech to the United Nations who despair of his despotic ways. All he wants to do is live in unsurpassed luxury while oppressing his people, whom he views as 'precious and expendable'. After a tour, he's kidnapped and has his facial hair cut off. He's virtually unrecognisable and has a hard time convincing anyone he's not homeless, let alone a government official. He somehow gets a job at a trendy organic supermarket. At first the manager (Anna Faris) finds his authoritarian and sexist attitude bizarre, but he proves efficient at dealing with unruly customers, usually with physical violence.
