About ParaNorman

The company who made the beautifully original Coraline are behind this creepy family comedy. In the town of Blithe Hollow, Norman Babcock (Kodi Smit-McPhee) is something of an outcast. Nobody believes that he can see and talk to the spirits of the dead, his family are disturbed by his addiction to zombie movies and he is bullied at school by Alvin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). The closest thing he has to a friend is the eccentric Neil (Tucker Albrizzi), who is also picked on for being overweight. One day Norman's uncle (John Goodman) warns him of the effects of a curse created by the town's dark past, and the town's founding fathers rise from their graves as zombies and cause trouble. Norman's unusual gift makes him the only one who can restore peace.
