About Lockout

Die Hard meets Escape From New York, in space. Loose cannon Snow (Guy Pearce) has been wrongly convicted of being a spy, and isn't exactly endearing himself to the American government by spouting deadpan one-liners when they ask him to spill his secrets. But for Snow, who is clearly modelled on every smart-mouthed, beleaguered Kurt Russell/Bruce Willis character of the 1980s, wisecrackin's as easy as breathin'. He's promised freedom if he can rescue Emilie (Maggie Grace), the daughter of the President, from a maximum security space prison. Emilie became trapped with the seriously angry, violent offenders during a riot. So Snow is understandably reluctant, but with little choice goes off crawling through air vents and having punch ups in mid-air while grumbling about such inconveniences.
