About Horrid Henry: The Movie

A British children's movie based on the very popular books and TV show. Horrid Henry (Theo Stevenson) hates school and homework. His weird and wonderful teachers include the terrifying Miss Battleaxe (Angelica Houston with a Scottish accent and prosthetic pointy chin) and veteran comedienne Rebecca Front as the headmistress Mrs Oddbod. He regularly battles with his obedient, tell-tale little brother Perfect Peter, and Moody Margaret, Henry's rival. Henry and his Purple Hand gang find out one day that their school may have to close, forcing them all to go to the awful, expensive Brick House School, much to the delight of evil headmaster Vic Van Wrinkle (Richard E. Grant). So they must band together with Moody Margaret to save the day. A lively, colourful and cartoonish cross between Nanny McPhee and Dennis The Menace, featuring Matthew Horne, Noel Fielding, Kimberley Walsh and Jo Brand. It's also the first British children's movie to be filmed in 3D.
