About Hop

Fred (James Marsden) is an unemployed slacker. E.B. is a teenage, flannel-shirt-wearing rabbit who is reluctant to take up the job that has been in his family for generations - delivering Easter eggs. When Fred hits E.B. with his car, he's forced to take him in. Despite E.B. loudly practising the drums at all hours and generally being a nightmare house-guest, the two become friends and Fred agrees to help Hop to save Easter. With nice touches like David Hasselhoff in a cameo as a talent show judge ('Hoff Knows Talent'), and the Bunny family's Easter egg-shaped globe, this is a fun family film with larger-than-life characters. Directed by Tim Hill, veteran of talking animal films such as 'Garfield 2' and 'Alvin & The Chipmunks', it blends live-action with the cutest, bounciest animated rabbit the screen has ever seen (not counting Thumper in 'Bambi').
