Filmed before his untimely passing, the documentary is narrated by George, who was also heavily involved in the making of the film that serves as his final work. This Director's Cut version includes unseen archival and private home footage, giving viewers a first-person account of this dramatic period in his life, and revealing how he became one of the most influential recording artists of all time. He talks about why he stepped out of the limelight and turned his back on celebrity.
