About End Of Watch

No-nonsense LAPD beat cop Brian (Jake Gyllenhaal) patrols the streets of suburbia with his close friend Mike (Michael Pena), engaging in good-natured banter. They are mired deep in L.A's poverty stricken slums and domestic tragedies but in between call-outs they discuss life and their relationships. Brian is filming his day-to-day activities as part of a college project and much of the film is seen through his camera, occasionally switching to CCTV footage, in-car cameras and the iPhones of other characters. Viewers will either enjoy this innovative take on a crime drama or spend the whole film wishing that someone would hold the camera still. Things become more explosive for Brian and Mike when they encounter a Mexican drug cartel.
